Issue:
The Shield Deluxe will not uninstall, it displays error 1921.
Solution:
When uninstalling the Shield Deluxe you may receive the following error:
"Error 1921. The Shield Deluxe AVP could not be stopped. Verify that you have sufficient priveleges to stop system services."
This error occurs when The Shield Deluxe software has not been disabled prior to begining the uninstall or repair process. Please disable The Shield Deluxe software to rectify this issue. Then proceed with uninstalling or repairing the software.
Please disable the application at this time.
To disable the application follow the instructions below: - Right click the The Shield Deluxe 2008 product icon
 in your system tray by the clock;
- A message box will appear with a list of options;
- Left click on "Exit".
- When the goes away, the software is disabled.
You can now proceed with modifiying, repairing or removing the application.
If you experience error with this process, please use the link below to remove your existing PCSecurityShield product. Once you have removed the application. You will be required to reboot your system.
